I currently serve as State Retail Engineering Head (SREH), West Bengal State Office, at Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Since joining IndianOil in 1995, I have worked across LPG Operations in Indane LPG Bottling Plants, POL Operations in Terminals and Depots, Retail Sales, Engineering, Maintenance & Inspection (M&I), and Retail Engineering.

My Engineering background spans LPG & POL Operations, Retail Sales, and Asset / Equipment Inspection & Maintenance, ensuring their continued Reliability & Integrity.

My experience includes Corrosion Control & Prevention, Reliability & Failure Analysis, PM/PdM, Creation and Building of Assets, and their Maintenance. I bring prolonged exposure to diverse field experience to my interest in Digital Solutions through AI, Web Applications and Business Dashboards that make Operational, Maintenance & Equipment Reliability information easier to use.

Inspection & Knowledge Sharing

Experience and expertise in inspection of tanks, pipelines and rotating equipment; preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM); and maintenance indexing of equipment and assets across IndianOil Terminals, Depots, Aviation Fuel Stations (AFS) and Lube Plants throughout India.
Extensive experience and expertise in tank fabrication and inspection, including underground tanks, aboveground horizontal tanks, vertical cone roof tanks (self supported and column supported), external floating roof tanks, internal floating roof tanks, and fire water storage tanks.
Extensive experience and expertise in corrosion control, prevention and painting, and cathodic protection systems.
Extensive experience and knowledge in Retail Sales, LPG and POL Operations, and Retail Engineering.
Authored 36 courses on M&I and Engineering for the Swadhyaya online learning platform.
